CO – Level Progression

Below this is a chart showing what you get at each level. When you look at it you’ll notice a big gap in levels 2-4. The reason is that the tutorial zone really runs from level 1 to level 4 or 5 and during that time it focuses more on showing you how to get around and various types of missions than building your character. You do gain more Endurance and Hit Points during those levels, just not any Advantage, Talent or Power Points.

After you reach level 5 (and you have left the tutorial mission) to spend your points and improve your character you will have to travel to a Power House. The Power House’s are instanced buildings in which you can retcon (respec) your character and / or train and spend the points you gained upon leveling up. While you are in the Power House you can freely try out and re-spend your points as much as you want, you character changes are only committed as you leave the Power House.

So, for example, you have reached level 5 and get to choose both an additional Power and a Travel Power. You can talk to a trainer, making your choices, go to one of the rooms with target dummies and see what your power looks like or how it works and then go back to the trainer and change it to try another power. You can make those changes and try things out as much as you want until you go to leave the Power House. At that point your choices are made permanent and if you want to change them you will have to talk to a trainer and spend a small fee to ‘retcon’ your character choices.

Currently you can only retcon the last 10 choices you have made and the cost increases the further back you make changes.
