Giant Vibrator
My sister, a while back, got a Sleep Number bed. For those who don’t know, they are basically a giant twin cell air mattress with a pump with a fancy controller that lets you set how fully inflated you want the thing to be.
Anyways, the sound of the pump is really loud and right after she got it, when I heard her first inflating it after helping her get the thing assembled, I commented on how the sound made me think of it being a giant inflatable vibrator (because of where the pump was, the bed did shake a little while inflating).
Personally, I can’t be sure if the thought popping into my head is best blamed on an old ‘Add N to X’ video I saw ages back that involved industrial tools used as sex toys or those awful ‘magic fingers’ vibrating beds you always see getting used as gags on television or in movies when people go to hotels.
Anyways, now she is rather grumpy with me because every time she goes to inflate her bed (what is apparently a nearly daily ritual as she keeps the thing on I think the lowest possible setting and it seems to leaks air when set that low) she thinks of my comment.
