I Hate Change
Days like today remind my of why I try not to get into routines, and why I try not to break those routines I do inevitably fall into.
So, some sixteen hours after I started it looks like my website is almost back up and functioning. Very little of the content has made it back up here yet, at least in part because I haven’t decided how much of it is going to come back.
Along the way I’ve changed hosting providers, submitted about two dozen change requests to my registrar’s info, finally said to hell with it and set the wheels in motion to transfer my registrar data, updated my ftp client twice, changed content management software twice, accidently wiped out my mySQL db, and given myself a mild concussion from headbutting my monitor too many times.
Ai-yi-yi… Never again will I cease to update or maintain my site. It takes too much god-damned effort to reboot and rebuild the thing from scratch.

wow. I totally loved your site and it was my badgehunting resource and a kind of key to the microcosm that is COH, for me at least. I am at work now, and the server here blocks most gaming sites. for whatever reason, at work, i could reach your site and just chill with a coh fix even if it was a bit removed.
I closed my coh account but i still like to get a ” fix” if you will, so i hope you update , update , update! i understand the efforts that entails and will chime in here and there, 1) because i can and
2) if only to sing your praises for passed endeavors

Yeah. I keep meaning to add a new tab to the top of the page layout for a ‘Guides’ section and get my CoH guide linked back into the site framework there. Just haven’t gotten to it yet, hopefully in the next week or so.
Don’t actually play CoH anymore (ponder very rarely going back, but haven’t yet) but no reason not to have the guide I’d already worked on still be live and active.
