His back arched as it ran through him. One tiny step too far, his foot touching the pool of water on the rooms floor and the connection was made. All the current that had been keeping the house alive, powering the technology in it, now sought to steal his life from him. His teeth clanked in his mouth as his jaw muscles tensed and released, a scream caught in his throat.
