I had something to say and forgot it. So I think this will be notes and reminders to myself as much as anything else.

Need to get the new images up to my guide site. Re-touched pretty much all of them for smaller file sizes with no loss in image quality by swapping to a more appropriate file type.

Laundry needs to be folded. Keep putting it off. I have a pair of baskets with a gargantuan heap of clean laundry building atop them now. I worry that if I don’t fold it all soon it’ll grow angry with me, shuffle across my bedroom floor and fall upon my futon at night while I am sleeping and suffocate me.

Must buy groceries today or starve tomorrow. Pantry is pretty bare. Been putting off grocery trips a little since it has been so cold out. Usually walk the couple blocks to the grocery store a few times during the week to get food and meals for later in the week. Been depopulating the canned soup and dry goods of my pantry this week instead and running out of non-weird food items.

Sushi. Maybe I’ll stop for sushi on the way to groceries today, or pick some take-out sushi up on the way back home. Must ponder this.

Playing my Rad/Rad Corrupter villain on Virtue tonight I think, so will likely login a hero sometime during the day today to badge hunt on Champion and grind up some more Prestige.

Need to write my next short-story for the NaNoWriMo thing today too. Due today. Have the idea in mind, just need to spend a few minutes researching something to make sure I get a couple mythological elements in it correct. My memory is a little fuzzy regarding the correct sequence of events in a couple stories.

Bathroom needs cleaning. It isn’t dirty perse, but for some reason the room accumulates dust ( likely the built-in space heater in the wall is why ) and I noticed the back of the toilet was dusty again. Usually the deciding factor in me spending the half-hour it takes to clean the room once more.

But first, perusing peoples blogs, reading and answering email, and possibly toast for breakfast.

So I finally got it far along to put up publically. Not perfect, by no means finished, some sections ( foe groups ) don’t even have any content in them yet and are just there for organizational purposes so I know what my links to it later will be. But it is up and I am working on it slowly.

So I got my amazon.com wishlist updated again. Giving the coming onslaught of the holiday season and its shopping needs, it seemed like the thing to do, and it took far longer then I expected.

It went from about 319 items down to 10 or so. I had a lot of stuff that had been on there for years which really didn’t interest me anymore to remove. I really wish they had a ‘remove all unavailable items’ button too, lots of it was out of print or out of distrubution or the publisher had simply put out a new version and I needed to remove the old and add the new one in its plce.

From that 10 or so though, it went back up to about 136. Big swatches of it are me adding items from series where I have a chunk of the series, but not the rest of it. Or volumes have come out since the last time I went shopping for more.

Odd little cross-section of my lifestyle when looking at it. Anime, manga, a few collected volumes of other comics, a couple of novels, a scattering of music cds by bands I used to listen to and that have put out new music I haven’t gotten to getting yet.

No video games this time around, I spend so much time playing the ‘City of’ games that my PS2, Xbox and Gamecube are gathering dust. Really need to finish some of the games I already have.

So I have been horribly wrong in the past on previous issues, both on content and when they will show up, so I figured I’d make a fool of myself and make a guess on Issue 7 as well.

I am also guessing that Issue 7 will be before the end of the year, simply to hurry out and unlock the last 10 levels for Villains and the last two CoV zones before too many people get clumped up at 40.

The places where I mention ‘Issues’ below are when the item was first mentioned as ‘Coming Soon’ or the original guess-timated Issue for them.

What I am almost certain will be in:
Villain levels 41-50
Grandville zone ( highest level CoV zone ) will be unlocked
Recluse’s Victory zone ( highst level PvP zone? ) will be unlocked

What I would hope to see in:
Ancillary power pools for Villains
Costume items fully shared between heroes and villains

What I would like to see but probably won’t:
Fallen Heroes and Redeemed Villains
Quarterstaff, Pistol, and Shield powersets for CoH or CoV ( Issue 4 )
Coralax epic AT ( Issue 4 )
Avilan epic AT ( Issue 4 )
Incarnate epic AT ( Issue 4 )
Blood of the Black Flow ( egypt-themed ) villain group ( Issue 4 )

What I wonder if we will ever see:
Skill system ( Issue 5 )
Flashbacks ( Issue 7 )

So I’ve been doing a lot more writing lately then drawing. I blame this partly on this month being NaNoWriMo, but in truth it is one more weird cyclical thing in my life. I never manage to find a balance between the two, it seems like I only manage to really focus on one at the expense of the other. Frustrating notion that, it leads to despair regarding my ever getting any of my comic-related projects off the ground.

I have a story to be written by the end of the day tomorrow. I have a concept for it, actually most of the story-written out in my head and just needing to be put down as words instead of the strange play of images and narration that exists in my brain.

I have the guide-site to CoH/CoV I’ve been working on. I’d like to have that complete enough to to be worth making public by Wednesday.

I just got home and while the company I spent the morning with was amusing, I really am not a very social creature right now and am glad to be back in my silent empty house. A rather cold house though, need to turn the furnace on. And also rather altogethor too silent so I’ll have to fix that with angry old rivethead music pouring out of my computers speakers.
