The new NIN album is on my list of 'things to get when I remember to get them'.

Reviews I've read likened it back to "Pretty Hate Machine" which I think is still my favorite of them.

Last CD I bought before now... *ponders* It'd be about three years since I got any new music I think and got a bunch then and don't remember what any of it was.

In the midst of searching for other things in my still unpacked boxes... Found a few cds I mean to request songs off of soon...

Cibo Matto - "Sci-fi Wasabi". Just to hear someone rhyme 'moby', 'obi-wan kenobi' and 'lobby'. Strange album, it is "J-Pop meets Rap".

Snog - "hooray!!", just have to decide which of the 8 mixes of it I have is the best. Because any band that advertises themselves as being part of 'the international mind control corporation' amuses me.

Messiah - "Beyond Good and Evil", the song is just hilarious. It was my anthem for the turn of the last century. That and the album is named "Twenty First Century Jesus". Just if you go looking for it, make sure you find 'Messiah' the techno'ish band and not 'Messiah' the cowboy-butt-rock band.
